The UCAS Deadline is fast approaching, and we know how time-consuming UCAS applications can be, so we thought we’d give you our top 6 tips to help you apply to ACM’s degree courses in no time! We called upon our admissions team to give us a hand. Explore our Degree Courses today – there’s still time left to apply!
1. Your Qualifications
Ensure you include all of your achievements; GCSEs, Level 3 qualifications and any Music grading you’ve achieved.
2. Vocab and Grammar
When writing your personal statement, keep your sentences short and simple and introduce keywords that demonstrate that you’ve done your research. Get 2-3 friends or family members to check through your statement to help with any spelling or grammar errors.
3. A Personal Touch
Include your inspirations and aspirations in your personal statement and explain why you’re applying for a Degree, what makes you suitable for the course as well as your hobbies and interests. We love hearing about what you’re up to and your achievements.
4. References
Remember to include a reference as this gives us a good idea about who you are and your work ethic.
5. Contact Details
Make sure your contact details are correct as we turn things around quickly and we don’t want you to miss a call or email!
6. Submit Before the Deadline
After you’ve proof-read your application, have an extended break and do at least one more complete read-through before you submit with fresh eyes. Give yourself enough time before the deadline to not have to rush. Remember you have until January 29th at 18:00!
Learn more about the UCAS Application Process, explore our range of courses, and tune in to ACM’s Instagram Live on Thursday 28th from 16:30 for a session with our Applicant Advisor Manager.
