Matt Healy (The 1975)

Indie-pop icon Matthew “Matty” Healy graduated from ACM in 2008 after studying vocals.  Since his time at the academy, Matty has experienced continuous mainstream success acting as frontman and rhythm guitarist for The 1975.

Matty has also accumulated multiple awards and nominations with the indie group, alongside a cult-following from a dedicated and loyal fanbase. We are immensely proud of the success that Matty has achieved since studying with us, through his critically acclaimed albums to award-winning performances – we can’t wait to see what the future holds for Matty and The 1975.
