ACM is pleased to announce its return to in-person teaching this September, with everything from Freshers to Graduation to look forward to.
We’re thrilled to confirm that ACM will be returning to in-person teaching in September. Everything you enjoyed before the pandemic will be making a return: from gigs and masterclasses; to freshers and socials. As an institution proud of its “Learning By Doing” approach, we are so excited to welcome students back to our campuses.
Here’s a flavour of what you can expect from ACM this September…
We’re pleased to say that Freshers will be taking place between 6th and 10th September. You can expect live performances on campus, open mic nights, DJ sets, networking sessions and so much more. Keep an eye on our socials for more information!
In the run-up to your induction day, we’ll be sending you information packs that include details about timetables, campuses, welcome talks, COVID protocols, ACM email and more. Keep an eye out for more information soon.
Gigs, performances, showcases & auditions
Missing the festival season? Not to worry – we have a bunch of gigs and live performances to share with you this term.
⚠️ Make sure you are signed up to Industry Link so you can be the first to hear about gig opportunities. You can fill out the form here.
Masterclasses & Workshops
Get an insight into the industry with masterclasses and workshops, taught by professionals who are in the music business right now. Not just at ACM, but also at Metropolis Studios, where over 70% of this year’s BRITs winners were recorded, mixed or mastered. We’ll be sharing more information throughout the academic year and you’ll be able to book those opportunities via myACM. If you’re a new student, you’ll get your login details as part of your induction pack.
Creativity, Collaboration & Networking
As our campuses fully reopen you can once again enjoy the spaces on offer – including our state-of-the-art auditorium and studio spaces – to collaborate with peers. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow musicians, business entrepreneurs and so much more. You’ll be able to book rooms and more via myACM once the term has started.
We can confirm that graduation ceremonies will take place this year for 2020 and 2021 graduates. We’re working hard to confirm details so please ensure you are following our social media channels to get the latest information. If you have any questions, please reach out to us via email@example.com.
Please note that whilst wider COVID restrictions have now been lifted, ACM will be asking users of its campuses to comply with mask-wearing, hand sanitisation and temperature checks to help keep everybody healthy during the months ahead. We’ll provide more information during induction. If you have any concerns or medical exemptions, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To keep in the loop with all things ACM this September, make sure you are following our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Please also keep an eye on your Whatsapp, SMS and email inboxes.
We’re so excited to welcome you back in September!
