The ACM Community continues to stay connected, creative and informed. July saw ACM launch DigiFest, supporting our amazing FE, Foundation and HE students, in an online festival jam-packed full of performances and online panels with industry experts.

We initiated our NEW monthly Songwriting Challenge – with two fantastic prizes from global audio brand, Shure, continued to deliver daily Instagram Live sessions, and saw students and alumni produce some fantastic music. Finally, we held two more Digital Open Days this month – be sure to join us for our next one on Wednesday 5th August to learn more about what ACM has to offer!

ACM Collaborations

We were excited to see ACM students Alex Vanderkelen (guitar), Alex Hancox (bass), Jordon Tonkmor (keys) and Frazer Stanford (drums) perform an inspiring cover of Lido’s “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers.Watch the full video here.

Well done to The ACM at Home Choir who once again collaborated online and performed an amazing cover of S.E.L’s (Tutor Emma-Louise) “Elevation”:

DigiFest

ACM launched ‘DigiFest’, an online festival of student music, video games/music industry panels, celebrating all of our student’s work across all campuses, disciplines and levels. We are extremely proud of all of our students and wish to reward them for the outstanding work they produced for DigiFest. We will be hosting an awards ceremony to champion the very best work submitted, with fantastic prizes from our industry partners.

Sign up to our awards ceremony on 7th August!

Student and Alumni Success

A touching original song called “Mind” from ACM student Tabi in support of #MentalHealthAwareness:

We caught up with ACM alumnus Arthur Bean, who has partnered up with Grammy-nominated producer, Che Pope (previously working with Kanye West, Eminem and The Weeknd)! We learnt about Arthur’s new release with Che, his music inspirations, upcoming projects and more! Read our article here.
