We recognise the importance of our students being able to make a home whilst studying at one of our campuses. Our Accommodation team is on hand to help students source accommodation that is right for them.

ACM London is based in Clapham, South London near Clapham Common Tube Station. Clapham Common is at its heart and a lively, sociable population that make it an attractive place to live. Neighbouring areas with good transport links include Tooting, Streatham, Brixton, Vauxhall, Stockwell, Wandsworth and Balham.

With our campus being just around the corner from Clapham Common tube station, you have access to the Northern Line and can be at Waterloo or London Bridge in just over 10 minutes. Our campus is also a 10 minute journey to Clapham Junction for further bus, national rail and overground facilities.

Managed self-catered student accommodation

Find Digs Furzedown Student Village and Cedars Hall

Find Digs Halls – Furzedown Student Village and Cedar Hall – offer standard and en-suite rooms with shared kitchens as well as studio apartments.

They have a mixture of rooms available from £182 per week. You can also get either a 39 or 42 week contract. Find Digs offer Furzedown Student Village and Cedars Hall, offering standard and en-suite rooms with shared kitchens as well as offering studio apartments.

There is a free shuttle bus which takes you to and from Tooting Broadway tube station which is only 3 stops from Clapham Common. Fast broadband and WiFi is included.

Furzedown Student Village gives you all you need to make your student experience as comfortable as possible, with on-site laundry, 24/7 staff and security on-site, games room and a communal lounge with a flat-screen TV.

Cedars Hall, next to Furzedown, offers a great place to live in a vibrant student community with a large communal area. Each room contains a fridge, plenty of storage as well as a TV point.

All residents in both halls have access to both sites communal areas and the gym.

Fresh Student Living, Unite, Urbanest, Britannia Student Services

There are a number of other private providers in the London area, their accommodation is usually in the form of studio apartments, self-catered shared apartments/cluster flats and luxury single apartments. The prices can range depending on the provider.

It is easiest to go to their websites and search for properties they have in London. You would apply directly to the provider for the accommodation. Prices can range from £190 per week to £350 pw for a single en-suite bedroom.

Managed Housing Allocation Policy

Some of our students have characteristics that mean that living in private rented accommodation is more challenging for them.

As such, when considering applications for our managed housing, priority will be given to applicants who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Under 18s
  • Students relocating from outside the UK
  • Those with a diagnosed learning difficulty, disability or medical condition
  • Care leavers or those currently in care of social services
