For the first time ever, ACM is hosting its very own Game Conference!

The Game Conference is where games academia and industry come together, hosting exciting talks by industry professionals who use games tech both in the games industry and outside, showcasing amazing game projects made by ACM students, as well as getting the opportunity to ask them all questions during a panel discussion.

The event will be held at the bespoke Electric Theatre, at the heart of Guildford, and be open to everyone. Visitors will be delighted to hear games music played by our students, while offered refreshments, and get an exclusive chance to enter a quirky competition to win prizes!

Who and Why?

This is a great incentive for the students to anticipate throughout the year, and an opportunity to let them show off what they have been working on for family, friends and teachers.

They would also have the opportunity to network with other students for future work, and with industry professionals they want to work with.

It’s also a good way of marketing the games course and ACM in general.

For industry professionals, it will be a good opportunity to see what ACM has to offer the game industry, and come into contact with future local workforce.
