College Buildings:

There is one main building located at 16 Bromells Road in Clapham.

Traffic:

Bromells Road is a one-way, relatively quiet road with minimal traffic.

Services and Shops:

ACM London is ideally located close to Clapham Common. It sits between Clapham North and Clapham South, and is just off Clapham High Street. It is located centrally to a number of shops, cafes and bars.

Vehicle Entrances:

It is possible to drive to the front of ACM London to drop off/pick up, but not to park.

Parking:

There is no parking available at ACM London, only street parking around the area.

Other transport options:

ACM London is a 2-minute walk from Clapham Common tube station with easily accessible bus routes to Clapham Junction Rail Station.

General Information

Medical Facilities:

ACM has First Aiders on site. The Lambeth Hospital has an Accident and Emergency Dept, which is 1 mile (6 minutes) away via car. The receptionist at ACM London can provide all students with details of local GP surgeries.

Emergency Procedures:

Fire alarms are tested regularly. The meeting points are clearly marked in the building. In the event of a student having a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan, Fire Wardens will have been advised of the necessary procedures.

Other:

ACM has a no-food policy in all studios and classrooms, except designated student areas. All water must be kept in Sports bottles. There are student lockers that are available to all students for a £5 deposit. Students must ask the facilities team for these.

Physical Access

General Accessibility:

ACM London has step access to the main doors and there is no lift access for people, although there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.

Benches and Seating:

ACM London has a seating area located in Reception, as well as other seating areas throughout the building.

Maps are available at reception.

Lighting:

There is good lighting within and outside buildings. High Viz tape is attached to ends of handrails and wherever requested.
