Hungry Buddha – Guildford
With over twenty years of experience in the UK, Hungry Buddha is a family business run by Wannut Woods and her extended family. The restaurant focuses on authentic Thai and Japanese cuisine at affordable prices! Now open for “eat-in diners”, Hungry Buddha also offers home delivery and in-store collection.
The Yard – Clapham
Described as “a vibrant and electric bar boasting Clapham’s best kept sun-trapped secret garden”, The Yard is now open for table bookings with indoor and outdoor facilities! A fantastic location for our students to socialise and network, we caught up with ACM Alumna Marianne Canning from the Yard to learn more late last month.
The Actress & Bishop – Birmingham
The Actress and Bishop is now officially offering indoor table bookings! The vibrant, independent live music venue and late-night bar is situated in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, facilitating many ACM events over the years – from degree assessments to bustling networking evenings. The Star Inn – Guildford
Guildford’s longest-running live music venue, The Star Inn, combines a welcoming pub atmosphere with regular live music events from our talented ACM students and alumni. ACM bands and artists who have performed at The Star Inn over the year include Electric Lady, The White Lakes, Ryan Harman, Whitelands, Beth Manners, Angel Blue, Blackwaters and more! The Indian Brewery – Birmingham

Venn Street Records – Clapham
Now open to the public with indoor reservations and lauded as “The Home of live music, cocktails and good times in Clapham”, Venn Street Records has been a social space for students to socialise and perform. Notable events include Freshers parties, featuring stellar DJ sets and an eclectic mix of hip-hop, RnB and Soul artists from our talented ACM community. The Wolf – Birmingham
We are a Birmingham born and bred family business. We opened the doors in January 2017 to bring Craft Beer to the people of Brum!
With a selection of craft beer and wholesome food, The Wolf is now open for table bookings!
The Boileroom – Guildford
The Boileroom has a range of socially distanced events lined up over the coming weeks with the likes of ACM Alumnus Newton Faulkner! From ACM’s Soul Workshop with Tutor Brian Henry, to the Metropolis Blue Launch Party back in 2019, ACM bands and artists have regularly performed at this established music venue. Head on down to The Boileroom for some food, local music and even venue hire! The team at The Boileroom continue to be “committed to bringing some of the most diverse and talented artists across all genres of contemporary music.”
The Sun Restaurant & Pub – Clapham
Combining the best in British pub hospitality with individuality, character and quirky charm, The Sun is tucked away in Clapham Old Town, just round the corner from the district’s buzzing High Street.
Now open for table bookings, The Sun offers a laid-back and homely atmosphere for the ACM community with great food and drink!
