We were thrilled to unveil our brand-new state-of-the-art recording facility at our Guildford campus on Monday 29th January created in the image of Metropolis Studios.
Designed by the best technical minds of both ACM and Metropolis Studios, our new studio mirrors the industry standard expected of Europe’s largest recording facility.
An exclusive guest list of press and industry were invited to see the new studio in action with Grammy Award winning engineer Liam Nolan (Adele, Jess Glynne, Calvin Harris etc) leading a live recording session of our ACM Electron Choir and band Kissed and Crowned.

Communication was a key factor in the design process and guests were impressed to see a direct-line of sight between the control and live rooms.
Our unique learning by doing ethos is at the heart of everything we do so installing industry grade gear was a must when fitting the studio – which is why an SSL Duality console was chosen.
The new studio will be used by our world-class tutors for lectures, workshops and masterclasses, such as our annual Audio Production Event (APE). When the studio isn’t in use by timetabled events, our students will be given the opportunity to book the space.
