Game Development Tutor

Tony Briscoe is the Head of Game Development and Group & Campus Leader at ACM London.

He is very passionate about the Creative arts, Technology, and Science and where they intersect. As well as having a Ph.D. in Sound and Vibrations, he has had a successful career in music composition, production and software engineering, developing numerous applications for various tech companies.

Tony’s musical accomplishments include UK chart successes with artists such as Craig David, Beverley Knight, and the Artful Dodger; composed music for the David Attenborough TV series Life in Cold Blood (Under The Skin); signed publishing deals with BMG, Sony ATV, and Peer Music, and also performed on keyboards at numerous festivals including Glastonbury.

As software developer he has worked on award winning apps such as: The Elements, The Liszt Sonata in B Minor, Leonardo da Vinci and the Tower Bridge Game app to name a few. He also founded his own app company called “One In A Billion app Ltd” which includes the popular songwriting app called “Writers Session” and a relaxation app called Sonosync.

At ACM he specialises in game programming, audio implementation using various middleware tools, music composition and production.

As part of the campus leadership team he is helping to develop innovative cross pathway links between the Music, Gaming and the Business programs.
