Matty Brown has been playing drums from a tender age of one when his parents found him always hitting on his grandmothers pots and pans. He had a great up brining in music as his father Nicky Brown and uncle Jerry Brown are two of the leading musicians and pioneers of UK Gospel Music. Mattys career really kicked off when he won Young Drummer of The Year 2013 and never looked back since.
Since Mattys early stages of his career, he landed some great gigs in the urban world such as Wretch 32, Lion Babe, Little Simz, Shakka and Lady Leshurr. After being recognized for his playing, hes been a force and one of the busiest young drummers in the pop session world. Mattys toured/played with artists such as Stormzy, Olly Murs, Ellie Goulding, Liam Payne, Plan B, Rita Ora, Crystal Fighters, Fleur East, Jonas Blue, Dave, Aj Tracey, and Not3s, just to name a few.
