Get ready to geek out on all things guitar and bass with fellow music lovers at this hands-on summit.

The ACM Guitar & Bass Summit 2026 is a one-day educational event celebrating contemporary guitar and bass performance. Hosted by the Academy of Contemporary Music, the summit brings together leading professional musicians, educators and students for an inspiring programme of masterclasses, demonstrations, performances and discussion sessions.

Designed for guitarists and bassists of all experience levels, the event explores technique, musicianship, creative practice and career development in today’s music industry. From metal and blues to jazz and modern session work, the summit offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from artists working at the highest level of their craft.

Across the day, attendees will gain insight into professional performance techniques, songwriting approaches, improvisation, tone shaping, and the realities of building a sustainable career as a musician. Interactive clinics and Q&A sessions allow participants to engage directly with the artists, making the summit both educational and inspiring.
