Guildford LondonEd Hendry embarked on their musical journey at a young age, delving into drums and keys by twelve and joining function bands at thirteen. His fascination with live production sparked early, earning them the initial recording credit at just 16. Following university, Ed thrived as a drummer, recording engineer, and live engineer, collaborating with a diverse array of artists such as Denise van Houten, Etham, and Tilly Valentine. At ACM, Ed specialises in drumming and live production tutoring, emphasising both practical and business aspects of the industry. Ed values ACM’s vibrant community, recognising its potential for networking among aspiring musicians. Ed’s guidance for students stresses the importance of mastering specialised skills while diversifying, fostering social connections, and embracing punctuality as a crucial professional trait.
Career credits
Ed is a drummer, recording engineer, and live engineer. Throughout his career, Ed has had the honour of working with artists such as Denise van Houten, Etham, Tilly Valentine, Conan Mac and Sam and Sounds, to name a few. He has also been entrusted with recording projects for various artists from his studio based in Essex working with different producers, artists and writers to help them bring their music projects to life. He has performed at different festivals and venues such as 110 Above, Isle of White Festival, The Royal Albert Hall and Seoul Jazz Festival. Ed has a passion for encouraging artists and musicians to pursue both the practical and business side of the music industry to have fulfilling and long careers.
