The Games Summer School Course provides students with essential skills in music composition, sound design, and coding tailored for video game development.
Key components include:
Music Composition for Games: Students learn to compose music that enhances gameplay, sets the mood, and creates immersive experiences. Techniques for adaptive and interactive scores are covered.
Sound Design: The course covers creating and manipulating sound effects, ambient sounds, and dialogue, using digital audio workstations (DAWs) and sound libraries to produce high-quality audio.
Coding for Games: Students gain basic coding skills to integrate music and sound into game engines, understanding the technical requirements and challenges of game audio implementation.
Integration with Game Development: Collaboration with game developers to integrate audio seamlessly into games.
This course serves as a stepping stone to ACM’s full-time programs in game audio and music production:
Advanced Techniques: Full-time courses delve deeper into advanced composition, sound design, and coding techniques.

Progression
Of-age Diploma learners may surpass an audition upon successful completion of the Summer School or Part-Time School.
