Music Performer
ACM’s Level 3 course in Music Performance is designed to give its students a focused learning experience, providing the skills and knowledge necessary for continuing study at Higher Education level or building a career as a Musician. Students can choose from Bass, Drums, Guitar, Keyboards and Vocals disciplines and are given access to a host of lectures, tutorials, workshops and masterclasses led by the same world-class music industry professionals that teach on our Higher Education programme offerings.
Music Production
The Music Production course is designed for aspiring studio producers collaborating with artists and bands. Learn essential studio techniques, including mixing consoles, outboard gear, microphones, and creative mixing and mastering. Gain experience leading and managing studio projects, working individually and within ensembles to realise artistic potential.
Sound Recording and Engineering
ACM, in collaboration with Metropolis Studios, offers a pioneering Sound Recording and Engineering course. Combining Metropolis’s award-winning expertise with ACM’s 25 years of teaching, students learn to capture, manipulate, and enhance sound. Study in world-class facilities, mastering recording, mixing, mastering, Atmos techniques, studio design, and professional session preparation.
Music Production – Creative Musician

Songwriting
The Songwriter degree offers a comprehensive pathway combining songwriting and music production, equipping students with versatile creative skills for diverse careers.
Songwriting – Creative Musician
ACM’s Level 3 course in Songwriting is designed for musicians who want to develop the skills and knowledge needed to develop careers as artists, producers and musical innovators of the future. Songcraft, electronic music production and creative concepts are embedded into hands-on practical workshops and classes throughout the course, with industry projects putting it all into context.
Composition
Whether you are interested in a career in Film, TV, and online media scoring, video game music, concert music, popular music, or simply artistically focused composition, ACM provides the faculty to develop your compositional directions.
Rap & MC
The Rap/MC route is a specialist performance pathway for students whose voice and lyrics are their primary instrument. Rooted in Black music and cultural traditions, from Jamaican sound system culture through to hip-hop and its global evolutions, the route engages with a wide range of styles and practices, including grime, drill, trap, boom bap and alternative rap.
