Joe Schollar

Celebrating over a decade in the industry, Joe Schollar is a seasoned session bass player, who graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music in 2019. From collaborating with icons like Boy George and Gladys Knight to supporting The Vamps on their 2016 festival tour, Joe’s musical journey spans various genres.

A sought-after studio bassist, he left his mark at Abbey Road, BBC Maida Vale, Metropolis Studios, and more. His summer was highlighted by a 30,000-capacity performance at Lord’s Cricket Ground for ‘BBC IntroducingxThe HUNDRED’ Cricket event with CHARLES.

Other credits include playing bass for upcoming artists Carmy Love, HOLMES, Bobbi Fallon and Connor Adams.

Alex Hancox

Alex Hancox is a session bassist, who started at ACM in 2016 on the diploma course and then went on to do the degree in 2018. Since leaving ACM, Alex has gone on to work with many artists in the pop and rock genre and has performed at venues and festivals all over the World, including Reading & Leeds, Red Rocks, The Hollywood Bowl and more. As well as her work on bass guitar, Alex has begun to work in the world of Musical Direction and Playback, where she has been operating Ableton shows and arranging music for a variety of artists.

Ted Dwane

Ted Dwane is the talented bassist of the acclaimed British band Mumford & Sons. As an integral member of the group, Ted’s rhythmic and melodic basslines have played a pivotal role in shaping the band’s folk-infused sound. Mumford & Sons achieved immense success, with multiple hit songs and a Brit Award under their belt. Ted’s skillful musicianship and stage presence have contributed to their captivating live performances, making him an essential part of the band’s success and recognition in the music industry.

Ryan Fletcher

After two hit singles, including a number four UK hit single with When She Was Mine, and the much anticipated debut album Chapman Square, it’s now Lawson’s turn to take their bow. Lawson’s rise is especially prevalent as band members Joel Peat and Ryan Fletcher both studied and completed the Higher Diploma Performance programme at ACM .
