Student Representation at ACM
Student voice is central to the ACM experience. Feedback from students helps shape both academic and campus life.
The Student Representation system ensures your views are heard, respected and acted upon. Student Representatives gather feedback on programmes, facilities and overall student life, working with staff to drive meaningful improvements.
Student Voice Council
The Student Voice Council represents the collective voice of ACM students and promotes student ideas and interests.
Led by Student Representatives across all campuses:
- Meetings take place once per term (online)
- All academic levels are represented
- Every student has the opportunity to contribute
Feedback raised is taken forward to the relevant ACM committees, and outcomes are communicated back to students.
Programme Committee Meetings (PCMs)
Programme Committee Meetings are held once per term and provide a formal setting for academic feedback.
Facilitated by the Quality Team, these meetings:
- Bring together Student Reps and Pathway Leaders
- Review programmes and curriculum
- Explore improvements to the student experience
Any issues requiring further action are escalated to the appropriate staff and committees.
Senior Student Representative
The Senior Student Representative leads the Student Rep Team across all campuses and programmes.
Their role includes:
- Representing student voice at the institutional level
- Working with ACM staff to ensure feedback is acted upon
- Supporting continuous improvement of the student experience
Why Student Engagement is Important?
