Metropolis Studios, London
At the heart of ACM is Metropolis Studios — one of the world’s most iconic recording facilities, home to a multi-award-winning team of engineers and producers.
Used by some of the biggest global artists, Metropolis provides students with unparalleled access to the cutting edge of contemporary music creation. As part of your studies, you’ll have the opportunity to book studio downtime and work in the same rooms used by leading industry professionals.

Blue Room Studios, London
Located near Metropolis, the Blue Room Studios feature:
- SSL production suite
- Live room
- Piano room
- Dolby Atmos surround mixing suite for film, TV and immersive audio
Grosvenor Road Studios, Birmingham
Grosvenor Road Studios is Birmingham’s oldest working recording studio — historically regarded as the city’s equivalent to Abbey Road — and remains one of the most advanced creative spaces outside London.
Recent upgrades include:
- Dolby Atmos installation in Studio Two
- New Neve Genesys console added to Studio One (2025)
ACM students receive weekly access to these facilities, including Studio One’s 50-seat live room — ideal for ensembles, large-format tracking and orchestral recording.
