Research & Knowledge Exchange at AC[M]etropolis

Knowledge Exchange is a UK government initiative designed to benefit society and the economy by fostering knowledge-based interactions between Universities and the wider world.

We have set out 7 objectives to get us organised and build the infrastructure for success, with funding to support the application & documentation of our knowledge and skills externally. These 7 objectives align with government priorities and are mechanisms to support us in our organisational aims.

AC[M] and our commercial studio, Metropolis Studios, currently account for a fifth of all collaborations with small or medium enterprises (SMEs) across the higher education sector in one Knowledge Exchange category, demonstrating our commitment to sharing our institutional knowledge widely.
