Performance Tutor

Tom is a guitarist in the British rock band Freeze the Atlantic. FTA have extensively toured the UK and Ireland both in headline and support capacities over the last 7 years. They’ve released two critically acclaimed full length albums (‘KKKK’ – Kerrang!) and are set to release their 3rd in 2017 via the award winning indie label Alcopop! Records. He has played numerous prestigious festivals with FTA, including 2000 Trees, Y Not, Truck & Camden Rocks. Since their first sell out show in Londons’ Camden Barfly in 2009, Freeze the Atlantic have enjoyed extensive radio play from influential stations such as Radio One and XFM among many others.

Tom has recorded at some of the UK’s most important recording studios, including Abbey Road and Sphere Studios in London, in addition to performing live in radio sessions with his band.

Tom also set up and ran Rocked Out, a hugely successful Live Performance Summer School, which ran from 2005 – 2011, featuring tutors from the bands ‘A’/The Bloodhound Gang, Hell Is For Heroes, Reuben, Hundred Reasons and more. He has a wealth of experience as a guitar tutor and from running Music Performance courses at FE Level 3, in addition to teaching A-Level Music Technology.
