Drummer Danny was born in Newfoundland, Canada. He graduated from Concordia University with a degree in music, specialising in jazz studies, and studied with Pete Magadini, Peter Erskine and John Riley. Drumming has taken Danny to over 120 countries, including a stint recording and performing live televised events with Universal Records’ pop and rock artists. Over his career he’s performed with many Broadway, Las Vegas and jazz acts, including Michael Feinstein, Wayne Newton, Marvin Hamlisch, Judy Carmichael, Chita Rivera, Jack Jones, Debbie Reynolds, Carol Channing, Clint Holmes, The Osmonds and Tommy Tune. Danny regularly plays throughout the UK and Europe for Qdos Entertainment with acts including Sinatra and Friends, The Definitive Rat Pack, Rat Pack in Vegas, Spice Fusion, Let’s Twist Again and Jonny Wilkes.

Danny is also the author of the book and play-along guide Drummer Wanted: A Reference Guide To Prepare Drummers For Real-World Gigs, published by Alfred Music, which won the Drum! magazine ‘Drummies!’ readers’ choice award for ‘Best Book’ in 2015. As well as writing and recording pop, rock and blues tracks for Dynamic Music, he has written for Modern Drummer magazine, and has made appearances in Drum! magazine, and on The Drum Channel.
