Performance Tutor

Aly Duff is a Performance Specialist and one of our many experienced, longstanding tutors at ACM. Her professional and teaching experience spans 20 years and covers a vast range of performances, which include dance/choreography, actress and singer.

She has performed all over the world in a variety of venues and shows as well as working with a vast array of production companies within artist development. This diverse range of work gives Aly an insight and understanding of the skills and techniques required to train and succeed as a performer in today’s highly competitive performance-based industry. She has been instrumental in developing new projects for ACM including Pop Academy. As well as performing with her own original band and ‘Madonna’ tribute work, Aly has also supported the likes of ‘Teenage Dirtbags’ – Wheatus and has had the joy of performing alongside RHCP Drummer Chad Smith.

Other credits include:
Funtastic: Girl band devised for children. Publishing and Record deal with EMI. Gigs include 02 (educational programme), headlining at Glastonbury alongside CBeebies presenters Syd and Andy, and BBC RAW tour as well as Harrods, Festivals in Europe and around the UK.

Pop Academy: The Pop Academy, was a course that Aly helped to design and develop for up and coming artists encouraging the development of techniques and disciplines required of today’s top 40 artists.
