Performance Tutor

Alex is a guitarist with extensive freelance experience and has been performing professionally since the early ‘00s in all kinds of settings ranging from musical theatre and pantomime, to original projects and function/corporate work. He is also an experienced teacher of contemporary guitar (and music in general) and takes great pleasure in being able to assist young musicians in furthering their knowledge and achieving their goals.

Career highlights have include sharing the bill with Donovan at The Great British Folk Festival and supporting The Blockheads on their 2011 UK tour.

Outside of ACM Alex’s main passion is Gypsy Jazz and he keeps a busy diary out and about with his quartet Tzigauners. When he’s not doing that, he runs acoustic function-band-with-a-twist, FRiSK.

Alex is delighted to be putting his skills to use at ACM and currently teaches on the Level 2 Diploma.
