Performance Tutor

Abi Crista Evans is primarily a singer/songwriter/performer involved in various original projects consisting of folk-acoustic, African-hip hop, Electronic Swing/Gypsy Jazz and Pop, currently working on her own material, writing, playing and producing her first solo Album.

Abi has been a vocal tutor since September 2010, undertaking 5 years working within the Vocal Performance school at ACM – Specialising in Aural perception, Music theory and performance/vocal coaching.

Abi has supported artists such as Paolo Nutini, Newton Faulkner, Nick Mulvey, Jamie Woon, Little Boots, Mungo Jerry, Congo Natty, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, Super Furry Animals and more. Working with The Pigeon Detectives and singing alongside Russell Watson for Prince Charles at Windsor Castle. she has taken part in live sessions at Maidavale Studios, recording at Sphere and other prestigious studios in the UK. She has been involved in running music workshops for the last 8 years and hopes to bring a fresh approach to the teaching and learning process.
