Mike McNally started his career in media, working for The Observer, Virgin Radio and music titles NME and Melody Maker.

He joined EMI Music and developed ten years’ experience in senior A&R, Strategy and Marketing & Promotions roles across a range of EMI labels before moving to the innovative management company, Nettwerk, as their Senior Vice President, working with international artists and their management teams.

His consultancy, McNally Consulting, delivers strategy, branding & development seminars, workshops and consultations to international trade bodies, national music export companies, labels and artists. Mike has lectured ACM for over a decade and is part of the academy’s Music Business School leadership team.
