Jamie brings many years of music industry experience to ACM. Educated at the Leeds College of Music, Jamie moved to London in 1977 before touring and recording with Roy Hill, Philip Rambow, Robin Scott, and others.

In 1980, he helped form The Fixx, taking up the role of the band’s guitarist. They started to build up a following in London clubs, before gaining popularity in Holland, Germany and eventually America.

Over three decades after they formed, The Fixx are still regularly write, record and tour the world.

Across his career, Jamie has also worked extensively as a session musician, collaborating with artists including Brian Eno, Laurie Anderson, Tina Turner, David Bowie, Kirsty MacColl, Cyndi Lauper, Stevie Nicks, Darryl Hall, Benjamin Zephaniah and Depeche Mode.
