In 2007 Moritz received a scholarship at the Royal College of Music in London for the two-year Master of Music degree in Composition for Screen. During his study he won the Adam Cruft Price and the Frederic Cox Award. In his final year he composed and recorded the score to his first cinema released feature film called “31 North 62 East”. In 2012 he scored the feature film “Shady Lady” for which he won a Global Music Award and a nomination for the Hollywood Media in Music Award.

Moritz is currently working as a freelance composer for film, TV and commercials. His studio is located in Guildford. Next to writing and teaching music Moritz also works as a photographer. – Film / music / creative.
