A permanent live band stage set-up with dynamic pro lighting and PA – a full Yamaha PA and drum kit with Zildjian cymbals, Fender guitar amps and an Aguilar bass amp set on a raised stage.

Opened in 2011 by Queen drummer Roger Taylor in conjunction with ACM and Zildjian, this space features an incredible display of Queen memorabilia, which has been kindly gifted by Roger Taylor and Zildjian.

Zildjian are one of ACM’s longest-standing supporters, having sponsored and provided cymbals to the Academy ever since it opened its doors back in 1995 as well as internationally renowned performing artists, including Roger Taylor himself.

“This is just amazing. We had nothing at school, in fact nothing but disapproval. There was no school drum kit, let alone a room full of drum kits. So this is like a dream come true.”

Seating up to 80 students, this room serves as a space for lectures and masterclasses, with the added functionality of being able to demonstrate or practice techniques in a controlled live environment.
