UK Dubstep-Punk band SUBSOURCE are the subject of a feature length music documentary released in the UK on the 29th October capturing their rollercoaster journey of all the chaos and drama from over a year on the road.
SUBSOURCE: A Dubumentary, directed by music video/film director Colin Arnold follows ACM Alumni Paul Frazer (guitar), Dennis Ng (music production) and Stuart Henshall (bass) across Europe. Other musicians and contributors who feature in the film include MC Kimba Mutanda, drummer Neil Shervell, MC Spee and Greg Dread of Dreadzone and Akil the MC from Jurassic 5.
With gigs in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland, ‘SUBSOURCE: A Dubumentary’ captures the excitement, chaos and humour of life on the road with the UK dubstep-punk band. Over the course of a year the film follows the band through small underground gigs to festival crowds of more than 70,000 fans as the band continue to realise their dream of making it big in the music industry.
“I have followed the band across the UK & Europe; cameras have not stopped rolling. I can tell you it’s nothing like I have experienced shooting other feature films. I feel that most music documentaries today are made once a band have ‘made it’, where as very few capture the actual journey…in SUBSOURCE’s case, the journey of Dub, Sweat and Tears”
