ACM Alumni (Music Production) Anthony Peters aka Subscape is back with a bang following the premier of his latest release ‘My Style 003’ at Brick Lane’s G Shock London store.
During the ‘My Style’ release event (on 27th March), the Dub Police artist also played a set for the attended guests and saw the screening of his new documentary entitled ‘My Style 003’ featuring ACM’s very own Chad Jackson and Prof. Stretch. During the 12 minute feature, Subscape talks about his background (including his time spent studying at ACM), experiences and influences that went into producing new release ‘MyStyle’.
‘My Style’ brings together 35 tracks featuring some of Subscape’s extensive back catalogue as well as brand new material from himself, the Dub Police label and a selection of like-minded friends including Breakage, Other Echoes and Caspa. The release has been carefully crafted and packed with new and unheard material in order to deliver a whole new Subscape experience that is eually adaptable to headphone listening as it is to party starting.
To support the new release of My Style, Subscape has embarked on his first solo tour across the US and Canada as well as a number of high profile guest sessions and interviews including a recent feature on BBC Radio 1’s Skream and Benga show.
All this suggests that 2013 is going to be a special year for Subscape.
More About Subscape
Since the age of fifteen, Subscape has been honing his craft and his early forays into Dubstep saw him receive recognition from Annie Mac, Rusko and Scratch Perverts. After studying Djing and Music Production at ACM Guildford, he went on to be signed by Dub Police with label mate and fellow ACM alumni The Others.
Following several standout releases, tours across the world, and remixes for the likes of Ed Sheeran and Adam F, Subscape has progressed to become one of the most prolific artists on the Dub Police label.
ACM would like to wish Anthony Peters aka Subscape the very best of luck with his new release ‘MyStyle 003’ and with his forthcoming projects.
