Over the last 5 years, Luke Smith has worked with some of the UK’s most renowned artists including Katie Melua, Paloma Faith, Miles Kane, Katy B and rising stars The Saturdays, The Overtones and Wayne Hector.

On a recent visit to ACM to deliver an Audio Production Masterclass, Luke – who is an in-house sound engineer/programmer/producer for songwriter and producer Guy Chambers – talked about his time in the industry, which has seen him travel between Guy’s London and LA studios.

The masterclass took place in ACM’s newest Production and teaching suite the Solid State Logic (SSL) studio and Luke spent a great deal of time sharing his knowledge and a plethora of tips on compression and EQ.

ACM would like to thank Luke for taking time out of his busy schedule and we look forward to welcoming him back to ACM in the very near future.
