Study Block 1 – 20 Credits
The Advanced Technical Studies module builds on the specialist skills studied in the earlier Technical Studies module. In it, you will learn advanced techniques that expand on your previous study and consolidate and extend your vocabulary on the instrument.
There will be a greater emphasis on the practical application of learned skills than in Technical Studies in order to prepare you for the next level of study.
In addition to learning the prescribed module content, you will be encouraged to develop your own learning methods for enhancing your technical skills and applying them with a broader musical context, and to develop an individual approach to your specialist area.
