Study Block 2 – 20 Credits
Building on your learning from Level 4 Study Block 2, Advanced Improvisation in Performance will equip you will more advanced improvisational skills and methodologies for the facilitation of creative musical expression. These techniques will be applied within the context of practical performance scenarios in the next level of study.
In addition to learning the prescribed module content, you are encouraged to develop your own learning methodologies for enhancing your technical abilities and applying them within a broader musical context, and to develop your own individual approach to your area of specialism.
