Recording and mix engineer on Video Killed the Radio Star, ABC, Spandau Ballet and Yes. Live sound on War of the Worlds and founding member of Art of Noise. ACM is pleased to confirm that Music Producer Gary Langan will be visiting the Guildford campus to deliver TWO Audio Production Masterclasses on Wednesday 13th February 2013.

The two masterclasses will take place in ACM’s state-of-the-art SSL studio between 2-4pm and 4-6pm with Gary sharing some of his industry experiences as well as offering insight into production and mixing techniques he’s learnt throughout his career.

Gary’s recording career began as an assistant engineer at SARM Studios as the assistant on a variety of hit albums including Bay City Rollers’ “Rollin”, Queens “News of the World” and “Day at the Races” and was present to witness the first edited playback of the timeless Bohemian Rhapsody.

“It’s always a pleasure welcoming Gary back to ACM, his professional attitude and attention to sonic detail really amplify what we teach students in their lectures!”
Ant Greaves Head of Audio Production School
