A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Paul Booth is one of the most in demand musicians on the scene today. Although a very prominent figure on the jazz scene, his versatility has seen him play across many musical genres and ACM is proud to welcome Paul to deliver two masterclass sessions on Friday 23rd March Friday.

Currently in the Steve Winwood band, Paul has performed worldwide with the likes of Riverdance, Eric Clapton, Matt Bianco, Basia, Tony Hadley, Eddie Henderson, Alex Wilson, Roberto Pla, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Snowboy, ay Gelato, Jane Monheit. He is a regular at Ronnie Scotts with his own band and others and has done several UK tours under his own name with the backing of Jazz Services and Jazz Action.

Paul will cover writing for wind instruments and will also talk about his experience as a multi-instrumentalist and consummate sessions player working with the likes of Santana, Steve Winwood, Steely Dan, Basia the BBC Big Band to name but a few, covering sight reading, improvisation and arranging.
