ACM is proud to be supported by three of the most esteemed professionals in their field.

Roger Taylor

I am delighted and honoured to be a patron of the Academy of Contemporary Music. Amazing places like this didn’t exist when we were learning to be a group. I can’t imagine the impact it would have had: I guess we would have been a whole lot better. I wish all students as least some of the luck, life and career that I have had! – Roger Taylor
Roger is best known as the drummer for rock legends, Queen. He is also a prolific songwriter penning hits such as ‘A Kind of Magic‘ and ‘Radio Ga Ga‘. He brings a lifetime of experience that he shares with our students and we are thrilled that he is one of our three Patrons.

Nigel Elderton

Having been a great supporter of the ACM for many years I have watched with pride as the organisation has grown from modest beginnings into a world class educational establishment. The enthusiasm displayed by both ACM students and staff has served to create a wonderfully infectious environment where students are able to learn all aspects of the music industry including the all-important business modules. – Nigel Elderton
As well as being a highly respected music industry executive (Nigel is currently European President of Peer Music, Managing Director of Peer Music UK, Chairman of The Music Publishers Association, Chairman of MCPS and Director of PRS for Music) he is our longest standing and most passionate supporter. Over many years he has shared a wealth of knowledge and experience with our students and is a much cherished Patron.

The Rt Hon the Lord Lingfield Kt DLitt DL

The Academy of Contemporary Music has as its goal to deliver the very best academic standards. In addition, however, it is hugely successful in providing a wealth of career development and prepares graduates for commercial success, be they future artists, producers or would-be music business executives. ACM is a pioneering institution with which I am proud to be associated as Patron. – The Rt Hon the Lord Lingfield Kt DLitt DL
In 2006 Lord Lingfield was appointed Knight Principal (Chairman of the Knights’ Council) and more recently created a Life Peer and sits on the Conservative benches in the House of Lords. Amongst these and many other significant activities he finds time to support ACM to which we are hugely indebted and truly proud.
