ACM was pleased to welcome Chris May from Overwater Basses to host a very special Bass Guitar Clinic.

During the two hour clinic, Overwater Basses representative Chris May took the class through the step-by-step process of setting, maintaining and getting the best out of a bass guitar in order to produce a consistent tone.

Chris also covered a number of other areas to help students understand the mechanics of the bass guitar including:

The background of the bass guitar.
Understanding how and why bass guitars are made the way they are.
Understanding the instrument inside out.
Five key points to set up a bass professionally and caring for your instrument.

”Had a great time today – I’ve been playing for five years and it (Chris May’s Overwater Bass Clinic) taught me everything I needed for the maintenance of my bass – things that I never knew.”
Jack Sunaway ACM Bass Guitar Student

ACM would like to thank Chris May and Overwater Basses for visiting ACM and sharing his insight into setting up and maintaining bass guitars.
