ACM is pleased to confirm that Overwater Basses will be visiting on Tuesday 25th September to deliver a very special Bass Guitar Clinic.
The two hour clinic, which is taking place in Demo 2 ADC between 2-4pm, will cover the technical issues facing the practising musician, with the objective of giving a basic understanding of what is needed to set-up a bass to optimum playing condition in a way appropriate to the individual instrument, playing style and the setting in which it is to be used.
About Overwater Basses
Over the years the Overwater name has become synonymous with the finest hand crafted bass guitars and to date we have produced over three and a half thousand instruments in the UK.
Our reputation that has spread throughout the world, Overwater bass guitars continue to draw the attention of discerning musicians, both amateur and professional and our objective remains, as it always has; to offer the creative musician the best means by which he or she may express their art.
“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Overwater Basses to the ACM. I have used Overwater now for many years and to finally have a clinic in house, is a great opportunity for all students to meet the man who builds these amazing basses. Many players forget how important it is to have a bass that will never let you down. You can be a great player technically but if your sound is wrong, your set up is poor and your bass is substandard, you will never get work as a professional bassist” This is an important one, don’t miss it!”
Paul Geary Senior Lecturer, Bass Guitar
Tickets for this clinic are strictly limited and available from ACM Student Relations.
