ACM was pleased to welcome back Performance School Alumnus and all-round good guy, Newton Faulkner to Guildford, who delivered two exclusive Masterclasses sessions on Tuesday 12th November.

About Newton Faulkner
By the age of 22, Newton Faulkner was already a graduate of Guildford’s Academy of Contemporary Music, had a million-selling, Number One hit with his debut album Hand Built By Robots and a string of festival favourite releases including ‘Dream Catch Me’ and ‘I Need Something’.

Six years on from this Newton has had a string of hits and albums including ‘Rebuilt by Humans’ (2009), Write It On Your Skin (2012), Newton’s ‘have-guitar-will-travel’ approach continues to inspire a host of other chart topping singer/songwriters including Ed Sheeran, Ben Howard and Michael Kiwanuka.

During the last few years, Newton has been nurturing his online support; speaking with fans and directly engaging with them via his global Twitter and Facebook accounts. More recently, Newton took this to the next level by opening up his studio to fans via live video feeds as he set to work on his latest release #StudioZoo.

The release doubled as a live documentary charting the entire recording and production process including surprise guests, live Q&A sessions, competitions and performances from Newton himself.
