Following their UK number four chart success with their debut single ‘When She was Mine’, a supporting slot alongside The Wanted, a promotional tour of the US and countless live summer festival performances (including 2012’s T4 on the Beach) Lawson return with their hotly anticipated follow-up single ‘Taking Over Me’.
The four-piece band, made up of three ACM Higher Diploma Performance students (bassist Ryan Fletcher and guitarist, Joel Peat) along with frontman Andy Brown and drummer Adam Pitts look set to continue their recent success with a tune that is already spreading like wildfire across the internet.
“Taking Over Me was one of the last songs we wrote for the album and it came out of a jamming session I was having one day in LA with our producer John Shanks.”
