What better way to follow up the recent ACM Metropolis partnership announcement, than with a student field trip to the world renowned West London production and mastering studios.
Organised by ACM’s Head of Audio Production School Antony Greaves and ACM Music Production Fellow John Gallen, the excursion gave the ACM Production students the chance to tour the Metropolis facilities. The visit included viewing Metropolis’ dedicated vinyl and CD mastering suites and a one-to-one talk with with one of the leading mastering engineers and designer of the facilities, Ian Cooper.
Ian also took the opportunity to demonstrate his mastering skills on a track produced by one of the visiting ACM students.
“What a great way for ACM Music Production and Sound Design students to benefit from the new relationship with Metropolis, I’ve been inundated with thanks from those who attended.”
