Thursday 20th Nov – 11am & 1:30pm & 4pm – Electric Theatre
The masterclass will feature Dishan Abrahams (bass), Tom Meadows (drums), and Luke Fitton (guitar) from the Kylie Minogue live band. They have been touring with her for some years now and will present their experiences of working in a live pop band, working on high production stadium gigs. They will be playing some of the tracks from the show including the original stems and a lot of the technology they use in the shows. Amidst the live performances, they will speak about the technical details of their roles and what is required of them in this setting. At the end of the workshop there will be one student band performing for them, as well as an open question and answer forum.Open to all students.
