ACM is beaming with pride this month at the success of students gaining further industry experience.
After their success on BBC One entertainment show ‘Last Choir Standing’, the ACM Gospel Choir is still performing with big names within the music industry. This year alone the choir featured on chart topper Gabriella Cilmi’s new album, ‘Ten’, on the track ‘Let Me Know’, as well as having recently recorded for X-Factor runner up, Olly Muirs, for his debut album.
In addition to these appearances, the Gospel Choir has showed support to the England football team by featuring on the 2010 release of ‘Three Lions’ with Robbie Williams and Russell Brand. They also recorded ‘Hope’ by the late Siphiwo with Nelson Mandela earlier in the year.
Other recent appearances have included ITV’s ‘Ultimate Movie Toons’, performing alongside Michael Ball, and their second performance for the Queen at Royal Windsor Tattoo in May.
“I am still so very proud of the ACM Gospel Choir and how much they have developed and grown into a formidable act and exceptional individual performers who are now being recognised more and more by the industry. My desire is that they continue with this passion and always live their dreams in music.”
