The Kick Start course is an ACM part time course designed for beginners of age 12 and upwards (no limits) as an introduction to the skills required to begin rocking out on guitar.
If you study Guitar you will learn a variety of introductory skills including:
- Tuning your guitar
- Basic left and right hand guitar technique
- Using a plectrum
- String names
- The major and minor chords
- Seventh and power chords
- The twelve bar blues
- The pentatonic and major scales
- Reading guitar and music ‘tabs’
We’ll even get you playing some songs too! Kick Start is the perfect introduction to the picking up the guitar and plugging into the ACM part time programme. So what are you waiting for?
