Two years after his sudden death, former Head of ACM’s Business School and lecturer Keith Lowde has been recognised for his dedication to his students and the music industry.

During the Thursday evening awards ceremony hosted by Eagle Radio, a number of Local Heros were honoured for their bravery and dedication to their profession.

Keith’s wife Jennifer collected the award, but before the ceremony she commented on her feelings about receiving the accolade.

“He’s really given his whole life to other people. In the music industry, with his family, anybody he came across he would be there for them. Nothing was too much trouble and he is definitely my hero.”
Jennifer Lowde

“Keith Lowde was a much loved and respected lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Music and was responsible for inspiring many existing, and future, executives in the music industry. ACM are incredibly proud that he has been recognised at the Eagle FM Local Hero Awards. It is a fitting tribute to Keith’s enthusiastic commitment, support, and encouragement, of young music students.”

Keith Lowde – much loved, much missed and cherished forever.
