Kate Nash likes ACM’s ‘Foundations’

Picture the scene – Kate Nash, the multi award winning English singer songwriter preparing to embark on her latest tour only to be a bass player, guitarist and drummer short of a band.

Well this is exactly what happened and guess who stepped into the breach; you guessed it ACM’s very own Business and Artist Development Team (BDC).

After completing some rigorous auditions in front of Kate’s management team, ACM is proud to say that Degree students Emma Hughes (bass), Carmen Vandenberg (guitar) and Fern Ford (drums) were chosen to join Kate as part of her backing band for her 2011 tour.

This opportunity will prove to be a fantastic experience and a lesson in tour life for all three ACM students as they adjust to full rehearsal mode and an arduous gig schedule throughout Europe and the US.

Big congratulations to Emma, Carmen and Fern from all at ACM and the BDC!
