Josh Edwards & The Language Win ACM Battle of the Bands 2011

The ACM Battle of the Bands Competition 2011 saw a great mix of ACM bands take to the stage and perform in front of a capacity crowd at The Boileroom, Guildford’s leading creative arts venue.

There were performances across three heats and a grand final which featured Skyskratcher, Charming Thieves, The General, Akakios, The Pulse, Trails, Atiptoe, Viperfish, Escapists, Mellor and Static Plan.

Fighting off all these contestants and claiming the 1st prize was Josh Edwards and the Language who won over the crowd with their acoustic, showgazy, folky performance. The band won £500 worth of Andertons Music Store vouchers plus recording time at a local studio. Congrats guys. Good job!
