ROLE PURPOSE:
Based at ACM Guildford, with occasional need to attend ACM London, ACM Birmingham and Metropolis Studios, as part of the Student Acquisition team, the successful candidate will have a role in processing and responding to new enquiries from prospective students and their parents, ranking and following leads, answering general questions via the ACM helpdesk and acting as a source of knowledge to applicants on ACM provision across each campus location. You will develop a detailed understanding of the courses and programmes that ACM delivers across our campuses in London, Guildford, Birmingham and Metropolis and the differences between degree and Diploma courses.. You should have a strong passion and understanding of the music and live entertainment industry and be happy to share enthusiasm, knowledge and applicable experience with new students who are considering a career in music.
You will likely work a varied pattern, covering daytime, evening and weekend hours as a team. At least some of those hours are likely to be worked from home using technology provided by ACM, but whereby you would be responsible for providing an internet connection at your working location.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
● To manage email, phone, chat function and other digital enquiries; ensuring an accurate and rapid response.
● Maintain regular contact with prospective students through the various stages of application, from enquiry to enrolment; guiding them on the best course for their personal and career ambitions.
● To assist with the delivery of ACM Open Days, Campus Tours, Induction, Graduation and Awards (where needed).
● Maintain the confidentiality of information about students, staff and any other personal information and meet the requirements of GDPR.
● Maintain accurate information using the ACM CRM
● Book prospective students onto open days and auditions
● Receiving and responding to Admissions group email and applications for admission, keeping associated files and records up to date and ensuring they are processed within ACM, UCAS, and awarding body regulations and timeframes.
● Recording and pre-assessing applications and inputting decisions onto relevant systems such as UCAS.
● Processing of entry conditions both UK and Non-UK grades
● Process of APEL and RPL Applications in accordance with the validating University regulations.
● Process of the RPA forms for those who are not applying through UCAS.
● PLiaising with stakeholders to ensure that target recruitment is achieved and that admissions policies are upheld and all admissions processes are fair and transparent.
● Contributing to the development of MIS admissions systems (Insight) and other admissions processes & procedures.
