In Darklight are an alternative rock band from Hampshire made up of brothers Ben & Louis Sellers and best friend Ross Archer.
Both Ben & Ross graduated ACM in 2008 - Vocals & Guitar - and have been developing the sound of In Darklight ever since. They have released a brand new 5-track EP based on their own distinctive, melodic rock style. ‘Drift’, released in December 2012, was entirely self-produced and then mastered at Abbey Road. (In 2010, debut album, ‘Dying To Confess’, was released followed by a self-titled EP in 2011).
In Darklight’s lead track ‘Drift’ was recently featured on the Saturday night edition of BBC Introducing (South Edition) – BBC Sussex, BBC Surrey, BBC Dorset and BBC Radio Solent – and was described as ‘a classy way to start the show’ and has been followed up by the release of the new song via YouTube too.
The EP portrays In Darklight’s new ideas, influences and maturing song craft that plays to the band’s strengths - powerful and melodic bass lines, driving and explosive rhythms and distinctive guitar riffs.
“Confidently produced, interesting vocals, and a place in my musical good books for In Darklight.”
BBC Introducing“With lashings of distorted guitar playing, interlaced with sharp tonal effects, the band
build an aural spectacle effortlessly. A band to watch in the future, as I am certain they have a lot more to offer.”

With the technical ability to self-produce to exacting standards in the studio and on stage, In Darklight could have a promising future.
Following the release and promotion of their new EP, they’ll be playing a list of live gig dates in 2013.
