» Fraser Smith is a producer, mixer, recording engineer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist based in London. In a career spanning over 20 years, he started out as a musician and songwriter, including several years writing, touring and recording as part of UK band Shed Seven (17 top 40 hits between 1994 – 2003) before moving full time into producing and mixing for a wide variety of artists.

Working in major studios such as Metropolis, Abbey Road, Rockfield, Sawmills, The Chapel, RAK, Townhouse, Olympic and Livingston, Fraser is adept at switching roles between producer, engineer and musician and is renowned as a ‘hands on’ producer, with a passion for getting the best performance from the artist, ranging from heavy alt-rock to introspective singer songwriters (see credits). Fraser’s work as a producer / mixer has earned him critical acclaim and a growing discography that covers established and developing artists, as well as other areas of specialised audio production (TV, film and other media).

Recent work includes Katy Hurt’s “Love You More”, a No.1 hit on the iTunes Country Singles chart, and Andy Ruddy’s “Everything Is In Order”, top 10 album in the iTunes Singer Songwriter chart, and producing vocals for Menno de Jong / Adam Ellis with Kate Louise Smith on “Set To Sail”, a No.1 track on Beatport in 2016.

He also recently mixed the Top 10 Blues record “10 Rockets For Ya Pocket”. for Grammy- nominated Miles Gilderdale & The Blueflies.

Fraser’s songs and productions have been used worldwide in TV, Film and advertising, with works published by : EMI, Sony, Universal, Warner & Notting Hill Music.
